About Us

Julfar Contracting, a subsidiary of the Rashed Al Jabri Group of Companies, is a well-established contracting firm in the UAE specializing in construction, MEP, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conceptualize, and design mechanical (HVAC) systems for construction and building projects.
• Develop testing processes and perform validation of HVAC designs to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and project specifications.
• Prepare heat load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water pipe sizing, and equipment selection.
• Review technical drawings, HVAC layouts, shop drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Support site execution teams during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
• Perform detailed documentation to track design revisions and project progress.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC engineering (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
• Solid understanding of HVAC design principles, mechanical systems, and MEP coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and other HVAC design software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, DW144, and other relevant standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform engineering calculations.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
