Mechanical Engineer

Role Objectives

• Design, develop, and oversee mechanical systems, components, and products.
• Ensure all mechanical designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, installation, and maintenance.

Core Deliverables

• Create and review mechanical designs, CAD models, and technical drawings.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
• Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and testing of mechanical components.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare documentation including design reports, BOMs, and maintenance manuals.
• Support project planning and execution within deadlines.

Skills Required

Mandatory:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA (2D & 3D design software)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of thermal, fluid, and structural mechanics
• Problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred (Add-on):

• Experience with FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, HyperMesh, etc.)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Hands-on with ERP/MRP systems
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
• M.Tech in Mechanical/Design Engineering (preferred, not mandatory)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
