Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in supervising and executing HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems in hospital and high-rise construction projects. Skilled in project coordination, QA/QC, testing & commissioning, and ensuring compliance with international and local standards. Proven ability to manage site operations, resolve technical issues, and contribute to safe and timely project delivery.
- Supervise and monitor installation activities of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems (for hospitals).
- Ensure mechanical works are executed as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Conduct daily site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors to resolve issues proactively.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to avoid service clashes and rework.
- Attend and contribute to technical/site progress meetings.
- Collaborate with main contractor, MEP subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to maintain workflow.
- Liaise with authorities and consultants for inspections and approvals (especially in healthcare projects).
- Ensure materials, equipment, and installation meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct inspections for incoming materials, installation quality, and completed systems.
- Prepare and review method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and QA/QC checklists.
- Participate in testing and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and medical gas systems.
- Coordinate third-party testing (e.g., duct leakage test, flushing/chlorination of piping).
- Ensure system performance and balancing reports meet design criteria.
- Support commissioning and handover documentation including O&M manuals, test reports, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records of work done, materials used, manpower deployment, and site issues.
- Update red-line drawings for as-built preparation.
