Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Consultancy team. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and project management skills to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Checking of Mechanical Installation at site.

· Expertise in supervision and implementation of mechanical systems for high-rise buildings and large-scale projects, covering HVAC/plumbing/Drainage/ Fire fighting etc.

Regulatory Compliance & Standards:

· Ensure all mechanical designs and installations adhere to DEWA, SIRA, DCD, DM, TRAKHEES, and other relevant regulatory authorities' standards.

· Stay updated on local and international electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

· Provide expert recommendations to ensure mechanical systems align with sustainability goals and energy efficiency standards.

Project Coordination & Management:

· Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into the overall project design.

· Work closely with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion.

· Lead technical meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews to resolve design challenges and maintain quality control.

Technical Review & Approval:

· Review, validate, and approve shop drawings/ technical drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority regulations.

· Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to improve system reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Leadership & Communication:

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, government authorities, and project teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree or additional certifications in building services or related fields are a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on building consultancy and high-rise developments.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC and associated services.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
