Civil Engineer - Buildings

A Leading Contracting company in Abu Dhabi is looking for Civil Engineer with experience in building construction for Dubai location .

The ideal candidate will manage and oversee fit-out projects, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor construction activities at the site in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers.
• Ensure work is executed as per the approved construction schedule.
• Perform quality checks, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain documentation.
• Manage and allocate resources, materials, and manpower efficiently.
• Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and billing processes.
• Handle contractor/vendor coordination and monitor their work progress.
• Resolve on-site issues and provide technical guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3 to 4 years of experience specifically in building construction (residential/commercial/industrial).
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, materials, and project management tools.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good communication and team coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
