Production Executive Specialty Chemicals

Tricom is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals, headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are focused on chemicals and ingredients which are targeted towards Specialty Process Industries. 

The role based at our facility in Dubai will fulfill the expansion requirements of our production team especially within the Water Treatment & Oilfield Chemicals division. This role within a specialty chemicals manufacturing company requires a blend of technical expertise, requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to ensuring the quality and consistency of chemical products through rigorous testing, research, and adherence to quality standards 

Job Description: 

  • Actively carrying out process operations for production of chemicals and chemical formulations required for water treatment, oilfield, lubricants, and specialty chemical applications.
  • Oversee daily production operations including Pre-Production and Post-Production activities.
  • Ensure all production stages are done according to the approved process parameters.
  • Create weekly plan for production in coordination with Supply Chain Department.
  • Regular participation and presence on Shop Floor during Production and its allied activities.   
  • Maintain product specifications and product standards while reducing overall cost to maximize productivity and profitability. 
  • Maintain and verify all production records specifically batch records and employee timesheets.
  • Monitoring all raw & finished goods material movement in the Tricom Warehouse including but not limited to area assignment for material storage, regular arrangement of materials in the warehouse, participation in stock monitoring & verification process.
  • Carry out in process & finished goods product quality control checks to ensure consistent product quality, ensure the quality of chemicals ingredients prior to use in the process.
  • Review & revise existing procedures & safety policies.
  • Review process control plan, drive quality issues to root cause, corrective actions and improvement & track quality performance.
  • Handle and investigate customer complaints.
  • Maintain and verify all production records for various internal and external audits.
  • Actively compile data and generate comprehensive reports documenting findings and suggesting improvements.
  • Monitor performance of workers and supervisors reporting to you.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance.
  • Provide training for all staff in Hygiene, HACCP, and Factory SOP’s to improve product quality.
  • Responsible for effective implementation of ISO and GMP methods and similar certifications for the company.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering. 
  • 05-08 years of experience working within the specialty chemicals manufacturing industry.
  • Experience and familiarity with Manufacturing Equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records. 
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards applicable to chemical manufacturing. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Experience in ISO 9001 and related certifications is preferred
