Mechanical Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure proper execution of mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, drainage, piping, etc.).
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems at site.
• Monitor daily site activities, ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical/site issues.
• Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and prepare site progress reports.
• Manage resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, for efficient project delivery.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and supporting procurement of mechanical materials.
• Verify and certify subcontractor works and progress claims.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems during construction.
• Support final testing, commissioning, and handover of completed mechanical works.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (3–8 years typically) in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, ASME, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; knowledge of project management software is a plus.
• Strong leadership and site supervision skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
