We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer with 5years of UAE experience to join our forward-thinking engineering team. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo, creating schematics, drawings, and technical documentation aligned with project requirements.
- Conduct mechanical analysis utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools to validate designs under various load conditions and ensure structural integrity.
- Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues to identify underlying problems and implement effective corrective actions.
- Manage project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of design milestones, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to ensure precision manufacturing and assembly of mechanical components.
- Utilize programming tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, Arduino, and C/C++ for system modeling, control design, and automation tasks within mechanical systems.
- Develop system schematics and electrical/mechanical integration plans for complex projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation hardware.
- Support manufacturing processes by creating CAD models compatible with CNC machining and other fabrication techniques; oversee prototype development and testing.
- Engage in system design activities incorporating ASME codes & standards to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance in all projects.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and improve product quality through iterative testing and analysis.
- Contribute to quantum engineering initiatives by integrating advanced concepts into mechanical systems where applicable.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering roles involving system design, CAD drafting (SolidWorks, Creo), and manufacturing support.
- Strong background in mechanical knowledge including materials selection, stress analysis, GD&T principles, and drafting standards.
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis), MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, and CAD software for detailed modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics development, and automation systems integration.
- Knowledge of industry standards including ASME codes & standards relevant to mechanical design and safety compliance.
- Experience working on projects involving CNC machining, manufacturing processes, or prototyping is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively on mechanical failures or performance issues within complex systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks using project scheduling techniques while maintaining attention to detail in all deliverables.
