Production Engineer - Mechanical


  • Assist and work closely with the project construction team with project tracking system schedule management, material distribution/control and any day-to-day construction requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety environmental and security responsibilities and liaise with HSES personnel and report any breach of procedure.
  • Attending TBT and project safety walkthroughs.
  • Attending weekly Project meeting and Engineering/Procurement interface meetings.
  • Liaise with PM and CM with reference to project production issues.
  • Coordinating with supervisors for solving various technical issues at site etc.
  • Liaise with PEM and PPM with reference to project related Engineering and Materials issues.
  • Report Engineering - Procurement deliverable delays to Project management team and follow up with concerned department.
  • Liaise with QC coordinator/ Inspectors and assist with monitoring quality related issues.
  • Attending daily construction meetings and highlight or solve issues.
  • Follow up and monitoring of ITR completion.
  • Liaise with Commissioning Manager/Engineers with reference to commission related issues.
  • Make sure As-built drawings are submitted by Production to QC as per engineering requirements.
  • Coordinating with Subcontractors/ Vendor for the execution of subcontract works.
  • Preparation of project related materials requisitions.
  • Co-ordinate / liaise with other Production/ Project Engineers as required.
  • Assist and monitor materials coordinator for materials issuance process.
  • Raise PRF and Issue register related with site issues.
  • Maintain Key Relationships: I. Yard Manager, II. Mechanical Manager, III. Project Manager, IV. Construction Manager, V. Safety Department, VI. QA/QC Department, VII. Other discipline Managers/Superintendents, VIII. Client, IX. Subcontract, X. Vendor


Requirements

Excellent listening skills (Under 55 Years)

Assertive (Over 32 Years)

At least 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Industry

Excellent communication skills (written & oral)

Degree/professional qualification in a relevant discipline (Degree / Equivalent Experience)

Ability to use knowledge effectively
