Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:
The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and production of ruggedized Tactical Starlink Kits. This position involves working from concept through manufacturing, focusing on packaging, structural integrity, thermal management, and ease of deployment.

You’ll collaborate closely with electrical engineers, field operators, and program managers to ensure the systems meet stringent military and field requirements.

Required Education and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in mechanical engineering
• Four (4) years of experience in the areas of mechanical design and engineering including the design, manufacture, and testing of mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with solid modeling, infinite element modeling techniques, mechanical and thermal stress analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and design project work to meet project objectives and requirements.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing SolidWorks or ProE for creating or documenting system designs.
• Manage design documentation, CAD models, and bill of materials (BOMs).
• Work collaboratively with government customers, contractors, and team members
• Support assembly, testing, and validation of prototype and production systems.
• Provide field engineering support and incorporate user feedback into iterative designs.
• Understanding of materials, machining, and additive manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with environmental and structural testing.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
