Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in high-rise building construction. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and coordination of mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all mechanical works for high-rise building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
• Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, site teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, local authority regulations, and safety requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues, design discrepancies, and technical challenges.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection requests, and as-built documentation.
• Support project handover and close-out activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems in buildings.
• Familiarity with construction standards, codes, and authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic engineering software.
