We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in high-rise building construction. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and coordination of mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all mechanical works for high-rise building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems.
- Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, site teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards, local authority regulations, and safety requirements.
- Identify and resolve site issues, design discrepancies, and technical challenges.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection requests, and as-built documentation.
- Support project handover and close-out activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems in buildings.
- Familiarity with construction standards, codes, and authority requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic engineering software.
