CNC PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) with occasional overtime

What You’ll Do

As a CNC Programmer/Operator, you’ll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills
to produce high-quality precision components. Your expertise will ensure our manufacturing processes run smoothly
and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills using M and G code (Fanuc controls experience preferred).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineered schematics to ensure precise manufacturing.
  • Make program adjustments and optimize setups for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep machines running at peak performance.
  • Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measures) to verify part quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and high-quality output.
  • Continuously seek process improvements to increase safety, efficiency and reduce waste.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in setup and programming.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of CNC machining, programming, and tooling, with the ability to troubleshoot
    and optimize machining processes.
  • Education: A 2-year technical degree in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or equivalent experience
    preferred but not required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing
    environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy are key in this role—every micron matters!
  • Team Player: Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting.
