Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our project team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, hands-on site experience, and familiarity with UAE engineering standards. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and coordination of mechanical works to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise mechanical installation works at site.
• Ensure mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Review mechanical drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents.
• Monitor site activities to ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure proper installation of piping systems, tanks, pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities during inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, and project HSE requirements.
• Identify technical issues and propose effective engineering solutions.
• Support procurement by verifying material specifications and quantities.
• Assist in project handover and as-built documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience as a Mechanical Engineer in construction or industrial projects.
• Experience in oil & gas, pipelines, storage tanks, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
• Knowledge of project execution within Hamriyah Free Zone / UAE regulations is an advantage.

Key Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and installations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in site and industrial environments.
• Good understanding of quality control and safety requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
