Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our engineering team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical engineering tasks, including preparation of shop drawings, tender documentation, and material submittals, with a focus on plumbing, drainage, water supply, and firefighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review shop drawings for plumbing, drainage, water supply, and firefighting systems.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and assist in preparing tender documentation.
• Prepare and submit material submittals in accordance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documents, BOQs, and engineering calculations.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project standards.
• Support project teams with engineering coordination and technical submissions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in plumbing, drainage, water supply, and firefighting systems.
• Experience in shop drawings, material submittals, and tendering processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; Revit knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements is preferred.
• Good technical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience in engineering consultancy is an advantage.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
