REQUIREMENT - MECHANICAL ENGINEER (HIGH-RISE PROJECT)

Location: Dubai (High-Rise Building Project)

A leading construction company urgently requires a Mechanical Engineer for a high-rise building project. Candidates must have strong site execution, coordination experience and solid knowledge of UAE authority standards.

Responsibilities: Supervise HVAC, plumbing, drainage & FF/FA works Review drawings & materials Coordinate with consultants/contractors Monitor site progress & ensure quality compliance Support testing & commissioning

Requirements: Mechanical Engineering degree High-rise tower experience (mandatory) Strong technical & coordination skills AutoCAD proficiency

Overview:

Responsible for the design review, coordination, supervision, and commissioning of all mechanical systems in high-rise building projects, ensuring compliance with project specs, authority requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and validate mechanical designs (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting) as per codes and authority regulations.

· Coordinate with all disciplines, consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth MEP integration.

· Supervise site installation of mechanical systems, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to approved drawings and safety standards.

· Oversee QA/QC compliance, inspections, and material approvals.

· Lead testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation of all mechanical systems.

· Prepare reports, track progress, manage procurement follow-ups, and maintain site documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 5–10+ years of experience.

· Testing & Commissioning experience.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing systems, and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA).

· Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit and construction coordination.

· Strong communication, problem-solving, and site management skills.
