Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. This role supports project execution, ensures compliance with technical standards, and contributes to improving operational efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment based on project requirements
- Prepare and review technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Perform calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Conduct maintenance planning and troubleshooting for mechanical equipment
- Review and approve vendor drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications
- Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of relevant experience (or as required)
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering principles
- Understanding of industry codes and standards
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
