Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with expertise in MEP, HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems. The candidate must have UPDA Grade A certification and experience in supervising, designing, and executing mechanical projects according to local regulations and project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and supervise MEP mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems
• Prepare technical drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project documentation
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with Qatar standards and regulations
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams during project execution
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities
• Review shop drawings and material submittals
• Troubleshoot mechanical system issues and provide technical solutions
• Ensure workplace safety and quality standards are maintained
• Prepare project reports and progress updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• UPDA Grade A certification is mandatory
• Minimum experience in MEP, HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems
• Strong knowledge of civil coordination and construction practices
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and leadership skills
