We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with 5+ Years of Experience in Facility Management.

About the Role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing maintenance activities and ensuring the efficient operation of facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Detailed knowledge of building HVAC systems particularly refrigerant packaged units
• Detailed knowledge of BMS systems, control philosophies and ability to diagnose and rectify abnormal environmental conditions
• Detailed knowledge of hydraulics / pumps
• Proven ability to arrange and coordinate maintenance activities across all disciplines
• Manpower management including allocation, training, performance management
• Deep understanding of KPI/SLA regimes and proven ability to consistently manage workload to ensure tasks are not overdue
• Excellent communication skills and well developed delegation skills
• Proven ability to convert manpower into a highly motivated team
• Provides succinct briefings and recommendations without being overly technical
• Well developed problem diagnoses and resolution skills
• Highly developed knowledge and practice of HSQE as an integral part of daily operations
• Demonstrable ability to maintain focus coupled with strong work ethic and sustained high level of productivity
• Excellent can do attitude, removes blockers and brings timely solutions to problems
• Strong general office software skills
• Health & safety qualification / certification preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Facility Management
• Engineering degree qualified with hands on operational experience in operations and maintenance

Required Skills

• Detailed knowledge of building HVAC systems
• Proven ability to manage maintenance activities
• Excellent communication and delegation skills

Preferred Skills

• Health & safety qualification / certification
