Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Frac Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing and developing frac equipment for the oilfield. The ideal candidate will be proficient in E-frac, DDT, and DGB frac uTackle the reliability challenges others haven’t solved.
Jereh is looking for a seasoned mechanical engineer to own the design and performance of BOP and stripper packer systems — the components that keep wells safe and running. Persistent quality issues have slowed the industry for too long. You’ll lead product development and root-cause resolution to deliver durable, high-performance solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Development: Spearhead BOP product innovation and enhancement projects, taking them from concept through delivery.
- Fix What Matters: Conduct root-cause analysis of ongoing quality issues, implement lasting design improvements, and sign off on technical proposals.
- Raise the Bar: Create and enforce robust design specifications to ensure consistent reliability across future systems.
- Share Knowledge: Document best practices, train peers, and help scale organizational expertise in sealing systems.
What You Bring
- Experience with BOP design and API/ISO standards (NOV, Forum, Cameron, GE Oil & Gas, or similar background a strong plus).
- Mastery of sealing mechanisms, structural design, and materials selection for demanding operating conditions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - able to take a failing design and turn it into a durable solution.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical decisions clearly.
Why Join Us
- Impact: Your work directly improves safety and performance for critical oil & gas equipment.
- Ownership: Lead initiatives end-to-end, with visibility at the leadership level.
- Career Growth: Help shape design standards and mentor others — not just execute someone else’s drawings.
