Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Sector

Location: Dammam/ Jubail, KSA.
Years of Experience: 5–6 years in the industrial sector.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).

Results-driven Sales Engineer with experience in the industrial sector, focused on driving business growth, managing client relationships, and delivering technical solutions. Proven ability to identify opportunities, secure project approvals, and close deals while supporting product development and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct sales visits with current and prospective clients
• Generate new business opportunities and grow the customer base
• Track upcoming projects and obtain product approvals
• Prepare and submit tenders, proposals, and commercial quotations
• Lead negotiations on contracts and terms, and finalize agreements
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients
• Contribute to the research and development of new products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills
• Experience in sales, marketing, or business development

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities
• Customer relationship management expertise
• Commercial mindset with a focus on sales growth

Experience

• 5–6 years of experience in the industrial sector

Preferred Background

• Experience working with major companies such as SABIC, Ma'aden, S-Chem, or Aramco
• Exposure to petrochemical, fertilizer, or similar industries
• Strong knowledge of process equipment (e.g., high-pressure systems, heat exchangers, waste heat boilers)
• Familiarity with piping systems, valves, and expansion joints
• Experience working with international and local contractors is an advantage
