Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Infrastructure to join our consultant firm for villa and residential infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising and inspecting mechanical infrastructure works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, authority requirements, and project quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect mechanical infrastructure works for villa projects, including:
• Water supply and distribution networks
• Drainage, sewerage, and stormwater systems
• Pump rooms and associated mechanical equipment
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests (IRs).
• Conduct routine site inspections and monitor workmanship quality and safety compliance.
• Identify non-conformities, issue site observations, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and other discipline consultants.
• Review testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
• Attend site and coordination meetings and provide technical input.
• Ensure project milestones and quality objectives are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant professional certifications are an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience as a Mechanical Engineer in residential infrastructure projects.
• Consultant firm experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of local authority requirements and infrastructure standards.

Skills and Competencies

• Good understanding of mechanical infrastructure systems for residential developments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong inspection, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple villa sites.
