Job Summary:
CDhorizon FZE is seeking a skilled
Scaffolding Designer/Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and engineering scaffolding structures to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in scaffolding systems, CAD software proficiency, and a deep understanding of construction and engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and draft scaffolding structures using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, material take-offs, and specifications for scaffolding projects.

Ensure designs comply with safety regulations (OSHA, BS, EN, or local standards).

Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and construction teams to develop optimal scaffolding solutions.

Conduct load calculations, stability analysis, and risk assessments for scaffolding systems.

Review and approve scaffolding designs for various applications (construction, maintenance, industrial projects).

Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams during scaffolding erection and dismantling.

Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and best practices in scaffolding design.

Assist in cost estimation and project planning related to scaffolding requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years in scaffolding design/engineering, preferably in construction or oil & gas industries.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Scaffolding Design Software).

Strong knowledge of scaffolding types (tube & fitting, system scaffolding, cantilever, etc.).

Familiarity with industry standards (OSHA, BS 5973, EN 12811).

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Certifications (Preferred):

Scaffolding certification (CISRS, Advanced Scaffolding, or equivalent).
