Job Title: Project Sales Engineer (Civil / Mechanical)

Job Summary:

The Project Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating and managing project sales related to steel building systems, pre-engineered buildings (PEB), structural steel, and fabrication works. The role requires a strong technical background (Civil or Mechanical Engineering) combined with sales, client coordination, and project understanding, including coordination with the company’s factory and execution teams.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for steel buildings, PEB structures, and fabrication projects.
  • Understand client requirements, drawings, BOQs, and project specifications to propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with the factory, design, estimation, and execution teams for accurate costing and technical proposals.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations.
  • Conduct client meetings, technical presentations, and site visits.
  • Follow up on submitted proposals, negotiations, and project closures.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, developers, and end clients for approvals and clarifications.
  • Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the execution and factory teams with complete documentation.
  • Monitor project progress from a sales perspective and support the execution team when required.
  • Track market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activities in the steel and PEB sector.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in project sales related to steel structures, PEB, fabrication, or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of steel building systems, fabrication processes, and construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of estimation tools is an advantage.
  • UAE driving license preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with steel fabrication factories, PEB manufacturers, or industrial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with UAE market, consultants, and approval authorities.
