Mechanical Engineer — Solar/PV / Substation (KSA)

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer experienced in Solar PV or Substation-based projects to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing mechanical installations, steel structures, trackers, and ensuring smooth site execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation of mounting structures, trackers, modules, HVAC systems, and piping
• Perform technical evaluations for mechanical materials and vendor submissions
• Ensure compliance with KSA mechanical codes and project specifications
• Coordinate with contractors for site execution, inspections, and QA/QC
• Oversee installation of fire-fighting and auxiliary mechanical systems
• Conduct mechanical testing, alignment checks, torqueing, and quality inspections
• Prepare mechanical reports, BOQs, and progress updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in Solar/PV, substation, or power plant projects
• Strong knowledge of mounting structures, trackers, HVAC, pumps, fire systems
• Skilled in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, STAAD is a plus
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings and QA/QC procedures
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a bonus
• Ready to relocate/work in KSA
