Mechanical engineer- UPDA

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and supervision of MEP mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Develop, review, and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with internal project teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Track project progress, manage site activities, and support timely completion of project milestones.
• Perform site inspections, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective engineering solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in MEP construction projects.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Valid UPDA/MMUP certification is mandatory.
• QCDD certification will be considered an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
