MECHANICAL ENGINEER(GAS AMC)

Key Responsibilities

Routine Maintenance:

Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on gas systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Identify and diagnose faults in gas systems, conduct necessary repairs, and manage breakdowns under the terms of the AMC.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of gases and equipment.

Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and future reference.

System Optimization:

Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of gas systems for clients.

Vendor & Client Coordination:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to coordinate maintenance schedules and manage service projects.

Emergency Response:

Respond to and resolve emergency situations involving gas system failures or leaks promptly and effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in the operation, maintenance, and repair of various gas systems (e.g., LPG, industrial, medical).

Health & Safety Awareness:

A thorough understanding of and strict adherence to safety protocols and best practices.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Communication:

The ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other departments.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of related tools, technology, and potentially computerised fault-finding systems.

Education & Experience:

Typically requires a relevant engineering degree or diploma with practical, hands-on experience in gas system maintenance.

Typical Work Environment

Site-Based:

Engineers often work at customer sites, which can include residential, commercial, or industrial facilities.

Irregular Hours:

May involve on-call duty or working outside standard business hours to address emergencies or perform planned shutdowns.

Physical Demands:

The work can involve physical exertion and require working in cramped or challenging environments

• GAS AMC: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
