Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator – HVAC Systems to develop accurate, competitive estimates for commercial projects. You will analyze drawings and specifications, prepare detailed takeoffs and pricing, and partner closely with leadership, project managers, engineers, and clients to support winning bids.

What You’ll Do

• Review plans, specs, and bid documents to determine complete HVAC scope
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop time, labor, material, and equipment costs
• Prepare clear, professional proposals, scope letters, and bid packages
• Attend walk-throughs, pre-bid, and scope clarification meetings as needed
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors on scope and cost changes
• Support design/build, conceptual, and budget estimates for early-stage projects
• Maintain organized estimating files and ensure documents are centrally stored
• Assist project managers with pricing changes and value engineering options
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, GCs, vendors, and subs

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years’ estimating experience in the construction industry; HVAC strongly preferred
• Estimating experience required; BS in Engineering or Business preferred
• Knowledge of commercial construction and contract documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); familiarity with construction, project management, and financial software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; high attention to detail

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
