Mechanical Fitter

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, and other plant equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in refinery/plant environments.
• Dismantle, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble mechanical components.
• Conduct equipment alignment, bearing and seal replacement, and flange assembly.
• Interpret technical drawings and follow OEM specifications.
• Support shutdowns and emergency breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, PTW, and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in refinery and industrial plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Minimum 2– 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in refinery and/or industrial plant environments.
