Mechanical Greaser (Port Operations)

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Greaser will be responsible for performing routine lubrication, cleaning, and maintenance of port machinery and heavy equipment to ensure smooth operation and reduce downtime. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in port operations and familiarity with equipment such as RTG cranes, forklifts, reach stackers, and other port machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily greasing and lubrication of cranes, forklifts, trailers, and other port equipment.
• Inspect mechanical components for wear, leaks, and damage; report abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Maintain records of lubrication schedules and maintenance logs.
• Support mechanical technicians in equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure use of proper lubricants and greasing tools as per equipment specifications.
• Follow all safety and environmental policies while handling lubricants and chemicals.
• Assist in cleaning, washing, and minor adjustments of port machinery.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams for timely servicing of equipment.

Qualification & Experience:

• Matric or Technical Diploma (DAE Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as a Greaser in port operations or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of RTG, STS, and mobile cranes lubrication systems.
• Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
