Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Job Summary

Our progressive engineering firm is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join our MEP Engineering team – managing, engineering, and collaborating on projects within commercial, retail, office, food establishments, education, health care, residential, and industrial buildings.

• Mechanical HVAC & Plumbing Engineering for building systems.
• Coordinating with Architects, Owners, and Building Officials.
• Designing HVAC Engineering air and hydronic systems using energy modeling and heat loss/gain software.
• AutoCAD & REVIT Designing for HVAC & Plumbing equipment, components, piping, ductwork, controls, and specifications.
• Applying effective verbal and written communication.
• Collaborating among engineering team, clients, and contractors.
• Project Managing within MEP Engineering Team.

Qualifications

• 10 years minimum experience within Mechanical HVAC / Plumbing / Electric Engineering.
• AutoCad proficient.
• Revit is a Plus+.
• Carrier HAP and/or Trane Trace HVAC software proficient.
• COMcheck software proficient.
• MS Office proficient.
• Site observation visits and building surveys.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• PE license is a Plus +.
