Mechanical Inspector

Next Engineering Consultants – RAK Branch is seeking a qualified Mechanical Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of mechanical works on-site. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on inspection experience, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of UAE regulations and authority standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect site execution of mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor quality and report any non-conformities through inspection logs and NCRs.
• Verify the delivery and installation of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and supervision teams for smooth site operations.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and local authority regulations (DCD, DEWA, RAK Municipality, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of mechanical inspection experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and quality assurance procedures.
• Familiar with RAK Municipality and UAE authority submission standards.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
