Mechanical Inspector

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to inspect and monitor mechanical works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and Abu Dhabi authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, water supply, firefighting, and gas systems.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and ITPs.
• Witness testing, balancing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning activities.
• Inspect materials and workmanship; identify non-conformities and issue site observations or NCRs.
• Review method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi DMT, Civil Defense, and applicable mechanical codes and standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector in the UAE.
• Strong experience in building projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use).
• Familiar with Abu Dhabi authority requirements and site inspection procedures.
• Good reporting and communication skills.
• Experience on Aldar projects is a strong advantage.
