Mechanical Maintenance Technician

I. Purpose of Position

Mechanical Maintenance of GVRI Coimbatore and ensure equipment availability for production and plant equipment’s ready to meet any emergency.

II. Key Responsibilities

· Mechanical Maintenance of GVRI Plant & Machinery.- (HMC, VMC, SPM, Fire Hydrant , Compressor , Ect.,.)

· Repair / refurbish/ Supervise Facility installation.

· Practicing EHS norms at work spot.

· Ensure consumable, spares, self-life- wear parts, and FIFO followed in using .Retained in safe location.

· Reduce outsourcing of activities that can be done in GVRI.

· Participation in kaizen relevant to your works.

· Water treatment facilities (STP, ETP, DM, R.O.’s, ).

· Preventive maintenance as per schedule .

· Breakdown maintenance attending

· Stock and hand tools maintaining and report monthly /yearly.

· Follow – up of EHS norms, permits, fire hydrant system testing.

· Execute work allotted on time with quality.

III. Relationships

(Reporting relationship & co-ordinating teams)

· Reporting to Lead Technician for smooth functional coordination.

· Coordinating with all technicians in the plant maintenance

V. Background and Skill

(Education & Experience)

· ITI / Diploma Mechanical maintenance

· MS office.

· TPM, 5S, Trouble shooting.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹9,818.40 - ₹38,213.25 per month
