Design & Drafting:

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in MEP Design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in HVAC design, Firefighting systems, and Plumbing design, with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems in compliance with international and local standards.
• Prepare drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.

Calculation & Analysis:

• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and energy analysis for HVAC systems.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations for firefighting systems.
• Ensure plumbing systems are designed for optimal water supply and drainage.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC).
• Stay updated with the latest developments in mechanical design and building services.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare technical reports, design submittals, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs).
• Support in tender evaluations and technical assessments.

Requirements

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design with a strong focus on HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, including heat load calculations, ductwork design, fire suppression systems, and water supply networks.
• Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local regulations.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Hands-on experience experience in onsite OA/QC,

Pay: From Rs120,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
