Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire Protection / HVAC Inspector – QatarEnergy Project

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Inspector to join our team for a prestigious QatarEnergy project. This position covers Mechanical, Plumbing/Fire Protection, and HVAC inspection.

Key Requirements:

Higher National Diploma (HND), Diploma, or higher in Engineering.

Minimum 10 years inspection experience in manufacturing plants, including 2 years in the specific commodity/process.

Fluent in English (read, write, speak).

Strong knowledge of ISO-9001 quality systems and implementation.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Mechanical:

Knowledge of codes: ASME Sec I, V, VIII, IX; ANSI B31.3/31.4/31.8; NACE; API 610/613/616/618/620/650/682; AWS D1.1.

Experience with process equipment internals, static/rotating equipment erection, alignment, and testing.

NDT / PWHT certification & experience desirable.

Plumbing / Fire Protection:

Knowledge of UPC, IPC, ASME 31.9, NFPA 13, 14, 20, 99, IBC, UFC, or equivalent standards.

HVAC System:

Knowledge of SMACNA codes, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE Handbooks, or equivalent standards.
