Mechanical site Engineer

Main job duties and responsibilities:

• Review and validate mechanical design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Provide technical support for design optimization and value engineering exercises.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and issue quality/safety observations as necessary.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection checklists, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor project timelines and report deviations or risks to management.
• Ensure all testing and commissioning documentation is complete and signed off.
• Ensure all mechanical works are performed in compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Liaise with local authorities for inspections, permits, and approvals where required.

Job requirements:

Educational background and previous experience:

• Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering.
• Min. 3 years of relevant professional experience (Engineer).
