- Develop and implement preventive and predictive mechanical maintenance plans and procedures to reduce downtime and improve system reliability.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, carry out repairs or replacements of components such as pumps, chillers, valves, piping networks, HVAC units, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of new mechanical systems or upgrades to existing infrastructure.
- Conduct routine inspections and performance testing of all mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with safety, health, and operational standards.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors when needed for system evaluation, repairs, and procurement of specialized tools or equipment.
- Coordinate with the governmental affairs team to ensure compliance with legal mechanical standards and participate in cost-saving and sustainability strategies.
- Ensure the availability of essential mechanical spare parts and consumables in the maintenance stores and monitor inventory levels, orders, and expenses.
- Hold regular coordination meetings with the facility team to plan maintenance schedules, ensure mechanical readiness for upcoming activities, and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical systems maintenance.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Solid understanding of mechanical codes, safety regulations, HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire-fighting standards.
Experience in project planning, maintenance scheduling, and resource coordination.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
