Mechanical Technician (PDO)

Petroleum Development Oman is the country’s main oil and gas producer managing upstream energy operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintenance of equipment

Maintain pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, and rotating equipment

Repair & overhaul

Perform repair and overhaul activities following technical specifications

Inspection & testing

Check mechanical systems, diagnose faults, and test equipment after repair

Planned & corrective maintenance

Execute preventive maintenance and emergency repairs

Safety compliance

Ensure all work follows strict oil & gas safety standards

Workpack execution

Follow detailed maintenance procedures and quality plans

Maintain “technical integrity and sustained operations of all mechanical equipment”

Work on industrial valves and plant equipment

Perform assessment, repair, and testing

Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical / Rotating Equipment Engineering

Around 5–6+ years experience in oil & gas or heavy industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RO1,083.000 per month
