Job Overview:

Indianhead Estates is seeking a dedicated Med tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, catheter care, senior care, memory care, and possess knowledge of anatomy. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and experience in nursing homes, medical offices, hospitals, and working with Cerner systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients under the supervision of medical staff
• Perform catheter care and assist with activities of daily living for senior and memory care patients
• Utilize anatomy knowledge to support medical procedures and treatments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
• Assist in managing patient records and documentation using electronic medical record systems like Cerner
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Certification in Med Tech is required.
• Proven experience in caregiving, catheter care, senior care, and memory care settings
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare practices
• Familiarity with working in nursing homes, medical offices, or hospitals
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems like Cerner
