Overview
GrandeVille Senior Living Community has an opening for a full-time Medication Technician (Med Tech) for our Evening (3p-11p) shift. The Med Tech is responsible for assisting with medication administration and providing personal care to residents while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. We are a family owned, stand alone Assisted Living Facility who has had the pleasure of serving the Rochester community since 1974. GrandeVille's services include; Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living, Memory Care, as well as a Social Model Adult Day Care program.

Please note:

ALL positions have an every other weekend requirement, and some holidays may apply. Our shift start and end times are firm and can not be accommodated. Reliable transportation is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer and assist with medications according to physician orders and company policies
• Coordinate medication services (refills, changes, etc.) with pharmacies and physicians
• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation
• Participate in training programs to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration and documentation practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and reliable caregiver
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
