Looking for a Med Tech for a Large Assisted Living Facility!
Schedule: FT/PT (AM/PM/NOC Shifts); Weekend & Holidays Availability Required

Starting at $19 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and supervise residents with medication administration.
• Regular, ongoing communication with the pharmacy, families, residents and management staff.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, incidents and observations.
• Initiates emergency measures according to facility policy.
• Understand and ensure compliance with all Federal (Title 22) and state regulations concerning the department (training provided)
• Demonstrate knowledge of infection control, i.e., adequate hand-washing, blood borne pathogens procedures, universal precautions, etc.
• Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports and submit these as may be required.
• Provide basic patient care

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of related experience and/or training, preferably working with seniors in assisted living, home health, rehabilitation, or other long-term care environment.
• Be in good health (physically and mentally; able to perform required tasks)
• Must be criminally cleared via DOJ and FBI Live Scan process prior to employment.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
