Responsibilities

• Scheduling and Coverage: Schedule med techs to ensure adequate coverage for medication administration.

• Medication Audits and Distribution: Perform weekly medication audits to ensure compliance with NYS DOH regulatory guidelines and distribute medications to residents in a timely and accurate manner.

• Staff Development and Management: Provide guidance and training to med techs, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care to our residents.

• Quality Outcomes: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality outcomes are met, and that our residents receive the best possible care.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all medication administration and distribution practices comply with NYS DOH regulatory guidelines and Symphony Manor at Lancaster's policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Understanding of NYS DOH regulatory guidelines and medication administration practices
