Med tech/Caregiver

We are a structured, professionally run adult foster home seeking dependable, detail-oriented caregivers who understand that this work carries real responsibility.

This role is for caregivers who want stability, growth, and accountability not a temporary stop between jobs.

What This Role Requires

This is not a “clock in and get through the shift” position.

We expect team members who:

• Show up on time, every shift
• Complete all tasks fully not halfway
• Administer medications accurately and without shortcuts
• Maintain error-free MAR documentation
• Report changes in resident condition immediately
• Keep a clean, organized, structured home
• Accept feedback professionally
• Take ownership when mistakes occur

Medication accuracy and documentation integrity are non-negotiable.

Success in this position depends on accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

Core Responsibilities

• Medication administration according to physician orders and state regulations
• Complete and accurate charting each shift
• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring)
• Encourage independence while ensuring safety
• Meal preparation and hydration monitoring
• Observation and reporting of physical, emotional, and behavioral changes
• Infection control and emergency response procedures
• Maintain a calm, respectful environment

Qualifications

• Must pass background check
• Prior caregiving or med tech experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Emotional maturity and steady judgment
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team
• Professional communication
