Med Tech/Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medication Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in our 20 Resident Assisted Living facility. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively with patients suffering from various conditions, including dementia.

Duties

• Perform routine medical tasks such as taking vital signs, accuchecks, and recording patient information accurately in medical records.
• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering care to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their treatment.
• Utilize electronic health record systems, such as Point Click Care, to manage patient data efficiently.
• Support caregiving activities by providing assistance with daily living tasks for our residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience or training in caregiving roles in a facility settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of vital signs measurement techniques and the ability to accurately document findings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Point Click Care, is a plus.
• Understanding of dementia care principles and the ability to provide compassionate support to patients with cognitive impairments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while respecting the dignity of each individual.
