Med Tech/CNA

Job Summary
Madison Manor is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience working as a Med Tech in Assisted Living or have the necessary license and certificates to work as a Med Tech in an Assisted Living environment. This role involves providing and overseeing care of residents as indicated on the resident's care plan, passing out medications as delegated by the delegating nurse. The Medical Technician will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Duties

• Monitor and record vital signs of residents, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to medical staff.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
• Provide compassionate care to residents, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other medical personnel to ensure optimal resident care and highest quality of life possible.
• Document patient interactions and care provided in medical records accurately.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance skills related to overall resident care and other relevant areas.

Experience

• Previous experience working in Assisted Living environment as a Med Tech and Care giver or previous experience working as a CNA in long term care.
• Familiarity with Point Click Care.
• Knowledge of systems and protocols related to resident care is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are crucial for success in this role.
