Media Buyer (Remote, India)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage direct media buying campaigns as well as campaigns on ad networks.
  • Negotiate rates, placements, and deals with publishers, networks, and traffic sources.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and optimize for ROI, scale, and efficiency.
  • Continuously test creatives, landing pages, and ad placements to improve conversion rates.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive strategies, and emerging media opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and analytics teams to align campaigns with business goals.
  • Prepare performance reports and provide actionable management insights.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in media buying (direct buys and networks).
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using campaign tracking and analytics tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of direct response and performance marketing.
  • Ability to work independently, manage budgets, and deliver on performance targets.
  • SEO knowledge is a plus (understanding traffic quality, funnels, and organic growth impact).
  • Experience in the financial publishing or fintech industry is a bonus but not required.
