Role Overview

The Media Monitoring Coordinator is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting media coverage across multiple platforms. This role ensures accurate, timely delivery of media insights that support clients’ reputation management, communication strategies, and competitive intelligence.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Monitoring & Analysis

  • Monitor news, online platforms, TV, radio, and social media for relevant mentions
  • Conduct keyword-based tracking and ensure comprehensive media coverage
  • Analyze sentiment, tone, and impact of media mentions
  • Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly media reports (press reviews, dashboards, alerts)
  • Develop analytical summaries and actionable insights for clients
  • Create customized reports aligned with client objectives

Content Validation & Quality Control

  • Verify accuracy and relevance of collected media data
  • Classify and tag media content by topic, geography, and sentiment
  • Maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables

Client Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams (communication, analytics, digital)
  • Support client requests for specific monitoring queries or reports
  • Ensure timely delivery of monitoring outputs and alerts

Tools & Technology

  • Use media monitoring tools, dashboards, and CRM systems
  • Contribute to improving monitoring processes and methodologies
  • Stay updated on new tools and trends in media intelligence

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field
  • 2–4 years experience in media monitoring, PR, or digital analytics
  • Strong understanding of media landscapes (print, digital, social, broadcast)
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in monitoring tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; Arabic/French is a plus)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
