Position Type: Media & Production Coordinator

Location: Strongsville Administrative Offices

Job Objective: The Media & Production Coordinator leads media production, event
broadcasting, and audiovisual operations across Strongsville City Schools. This role captures
and shares the district’s story through high-quality video, live broadcasts, and digital media while supporting district events and developing student leadership through the SCS-TV student crew and production truck operations.

The coordinator combines technical expertise, creative storytelling, and collaboration to ensure district media reflects the values and priorities of Strongsville City Schools.

Qualifications

• Experience in video production, live streaming, photography, and digital storytelling.
• Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment, production workflows, and editing software
• (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, Avid, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor students, or coordinate volunteers.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or
• related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with both small-scale and multi-camera broadcast production environments.

Compensation:

Salary and fringe benefits commensurate with the Strongsville City Schools Administrative Handbook and experience ($63,851 BASE)
