Position Overview

Tevelision Media is seeking a visionary Media Production Director to lead our creative and technical operations from our Al Waab headquarters. As a cornerstone of the Al Rayyan media landscape, our studio delivers high-impact broadcast and digital content across the GCC.

In this role, you will oversee the entire production lifecycle—from conceptual development to final transmission. We are looking for a director who balances high-level creative storytelling with the operational discipline required to manage multidisciplinary teams, international stakeholders, and state-of-the-art studio facilities.

Core Responsibilities

• Production Strategy: Lead the creative direction for a diverse range of projects, including television series, high-budget commercials, and digital-first content.
• Studio Operations: Direct the daily activities at the Al Waab Commercial Complex facility, ensuring optimal use of sound stages, post-production suites, and broadcasting equipment.
• Technical Oversight: Supervise the integration of modern production technologies, including 4K/8K workflows, VR/AR implementation, and cloud-based editing systems (e.g., Frame.io, Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of producers, directors, cinematographers, and editors, fostering a culture of authenticity, high performance, and creative integrity.
• Budgetary Management: Oversee the production department’s OpEx and CapEx, utilizing Excel (macros, XLOOKUP) to track project-based spending, equipment depreciation, and freelance labor costs.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for international clients and cross-border departments, ensuring seamless collaboration across different time zones.
• Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards for all output, ensuring technical compliance with regional broadcasting regulations and international quality benchmarks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Media Production, Film, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in media production, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or directorial capacity.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of live broadcasting, post-production workflows, and ERP-integrated scheduling systems (D365 or similar).
• Language: Professional fluency in English is mandatory. Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous for regional coordination and local stakeholder management.
• Regional Insight: Familiarity with the Qatar media market, local cultural nuances, and regional labor regulations.
