We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our healthcare finance team. A Medical Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist to manage the accounts receivable part of a large hospital-based Pathology Group. The candidate will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable portion of the revenue cycle by importing ERA, entering checks and balancing with EFT. Key skills include proficiency in medical billing software, knowledge of ICD-10/CPT codes and Insurance payment and denial codes.

• Customer Service: Answering patient inquiries regarding billing statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in practice management software, MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Payment Posting: Accurately posting insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and balancing accounts receivable
• College degree preferred. Three years experience required in a medical accounts receivable setting.

Pay: $37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year
